TOKYO – The Rocket League Division quarterfinals of the All Japan High School esport Championship are scheduled to be broadcast live on Twitter and other platforms starting at 12:30 p.m. (3.30 UTC) on October 9.

The eight teams that advance to the quarter-finals will compete for a place in the semi-finals, heading into the final scheduled for December 25. The Rocket League (RL) preliminaries will precede the League of Legends and Fortnite divisions.

This year 162 teams from 108 schools across Japan took part in the competition to put their LR skills to the test. Starting with the quarter-finals on October 9, all matches will be streamed on the official championship website. Tic, Youtube and Twitter accounts.

The OooDa game tournament launcher will serve as the MC, while the RL launcher and kokken game event organizer will break down matches by match. Additionally, former pro trainer and RL Wave will join as a commentator, and pro player and trainer ValtaN will provide gameplay analysis. The event will be held in Japanese.

The start of the RL preliminaries on September 25 kicked off the fourth Japan High School Esports Championship, hosted by the Japan High School Esports Federation and The Mainichi Newspapers Co. First held in 2018 , the competition aims to promote a new culture of esports in Japan, while fostering student growth through teamwork. The number of participants has grown each year, with around 1,500 students in 348 teams from 194 schools across the country participating in the third edition of the tournament.



This time, Fortnite has been added to the Championship lineup alongside Rocket League and League of Legends. The final day of preliminaries for League of Legends will air on November 23 and Fortnite on November 20 and 21. The tournament finals for Fortnite and League of Legends will take place on December 19 and 26, respectively.
