French launcher Arianespace will launch the Ariane 5 rocket tonight from the Guyanese Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana, during a 2.5-hour window that will open at 9:01 p.m. EDT (10:01 p.m. local time in Kourou or 0101 GMT Sunday, October 24). The launch will take place after a 24 hour delay to allow more time for ground systems checks.
