Cleveland Cavaliers and Fubo Gaming reach agreement for Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse sports betting

• Fubo Sportsbook now has market access agreements in seven US states
• Betting platform launched in Arizona and Iowa in November
• Fubo Gaming first teamed up with Cavs in October

The Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) have signed an extensive market access agreement with FuboTV’s betting subsidiary, Fubo Gaming.

The agreement will appoint Fubo Sportsbook as the official mobile sports betting partner of the NBA franchise upon the bookmaker’s launch in the state of Ohio, which is subject to regulatory approval.

The partnership will also see the opening of a 3,000 square foot sportsbook inside the Cavaliers’ Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Before Fubo Gaming gets the green light to launch in Ohio, the Cavaliers will promote Fubo Sportsbook through an integrated marketing campaign, including signage that will be visible during broadcasts and promotion in the team’s television and radio programs.

Already an NBA licensed gaming operator, Fubo Gaming first signed a deal with the Cavaliers in October, but the two parties can now expand the partnership as the gaming brand moves toward launching in the state.

Fubo Sportsbook first went live in November with licensing deals in Iowa and Arizona.

The addition of Ohio means Fubo Gaming will soon have market access agreements in seven states, with additional live operations in Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas.
