Disney Parks and shopDisney Join in the Fun and Adventure of PIXAR’s ‘Lightyear’ Box Office Debut
Pixar Light year hit the box office on Friday, and Disney announced new offerings at Disney Parks and at shopDisney that will have Guests and fans young and old feeling that spirit of adventure “to infinity and beyond.” !
For starters, guests at the Disneyland Resort in California will be able to say hello (and hello) to Captain Buzz Lightyear at Tomorrowland. He just landed and he’s ready to share his adventures with fans of all ages!

Can’t get to the parks yet? Its good! You can have your own intergalactic experience at shopDisney.com, where many Light year-inspired items landed. Fans of all ages will be able to find the perfect gift for themselves or someone else who will keep the adventure of Light year alive – to infinity and beyond!

We love Buzz Lightyear’s adorable sidekick, Sox the Cat (who’s been giving us Baymax vibes so far). You can find Sox at shopDisney.com in his plush form, perfect for bringing home the fun and heart of the new Lightyear movie.
Other additions to shopDisney (also coming soon to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort) include the Laser Blade Buzz Lightyear Talking Figure, which features motion, lights, and over 30 different sounds. This is the perfect action figure for kids and kids at heart!

There is also a Lightyear belt bag, inspired by IVAN, Buzz’s autopilot computer system. The bag will help young fans on any mission, big or small, and they’ll look really adventurous carrying it too!
