Rocket League announced a celebration of Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month with free in-game content as well as The Goals for Change: Campeonato de las Américas tournament. This tournament allows teams from North and South America to win money for a charity of their choice.
Rocket League is also celebrating the Independence Days of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico and Chile by offering a free pack with designer items of Latin heritage. This pack includes the Acero-Florentina wheels, made by Jose Flores of Psyonix, and three player anthems by AL3JANDRO. Psyonix is ​​teaming up with Rocket Street, which hosted the South American RLCS, to host the Goals for Change tournament. To top it off, Psyonix is ​​providing $ 53,000 for the tournament, which teams can win for any causes they choose.
Rocket League Goals for Change: Campeonato de las Américas
The first Goals for Change tournament took place in March 2021, featuring women from the Rocket League community.
The objectives of change: Campeonato de las Américas is the second part of the tournament and it is divided between two regions: North America and South America. Rocket League players from included countries can register for their respective regions, with Peru being eligible for both depending on location. The North American region includes Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, and the United States. The southern region includes Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
