Ukrainian armed forces neutralize Russian reconnaissance group near Mazanivka and prevent the enemy from advancing towards Marinka

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 6:00 p.m., August 1, posted on Facebook.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly.

In the direction of Siversky, the enemy fired tubes and rockets at civilian infrastructure in the Senkivka and Lypkivka areas of the Chernihiv region and Stara Huta, Pavlivka, Pokrovka and Bilopillia in the Sumy region. The Russians carried out aerial reconnaissance near Hremyach and Hlukhiv. In order to thwart the technical means of intelligence, the enemy has deployed electronic warfare systems.

In the direction of Kharkiv, the enemy fired artillery at the areas of Kharkiv, Prudianka, Nove and 14 other localities. An enemy reconnaissance group tried to expose the firing positions of Ukrainian troops, but failed and retreated

In the direction of Sloviansk, the invaders opened fire from tanks and artillery on the regions of Nortsivka, Chepil, Hrushuvakha, Ridne, Virnopillia, Husarivka, Dibrivne, Dolyna and Adamivka.

Near Mazanivka, an enemy reconnaissance group was discovered and neutralized.

In the direction of Kramatorsk, the enemy did not carry out active offensive actions due to large manpower and equipment losses and poor morale. The Russians shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Siversk, Kryva Luka, Serebrianka, Ivano-Daryivka, Hryhorivka, Zvanivka, Verkhniokamyanske and Spirne from tanks, tubes and rocket artillery. The enemy launched airstrikes near Serebrianka and Hryhorivka, carried out aerial reconnaissance with drones.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired tanks and artillery near Berestove, Soledar, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Vesela Dolyna, Zaitseve, Vershyna, Kodema, Vesele and Travneve. The Russians launched cynical airstrikes on Pokrovske, Novoluhanske, Soledar, Vershyna, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut and Kodema.

In the Yakovlivka area, the enemy tried to carry out reconnaissance. The invaders were exposed and suffered casualties. The rest of the group fled.

The enemy tried to improve their tactical position in the areas of Soledar, Vershyna and Bakhmut with assault actions, but failed and retreated.

As the General Staff informs, in the direction of Avdiivka, the enemy opened fire near Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Pisky and Krasnohorivka, launched an airstrike near New York, attacked the directions of Avdiivka and de Pisky, without success. Hostilities continue.

The enemy did not conduct active offensives in the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions. Instead, the Russians systematically shelled civilian and military infrastructure in Marinka, Pavlivka, Novosilka, Novopil, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Huliaypilske, Orikhiv and Kamyanske regions.

“Ukrainian soldiers have thwarted all attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Marinka. The enemy has carried out aerial reconnaissance to identify our troops and adjust fire. He continues to regroup, trying to reinforce his troops in the south of the ‘Ukraine,’ the report said.

In the southern direction of Buh, the main enemy efforts are focused on holding previously occupied positions and preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops.

The Russians opened fire from tanks, tube artillery and rockets along the line of contact, launched airstrikes near Bila Krynytsia and Andriivka, carried out aerial reconnaissance with drones.

The enemy is trying to restore destroyed and damaged bridges and bridge crossings over the Dnipro River.

As noted, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 41,030 Russian invaders from February 24 to August 1.
